What’s worked during these weird weeks at home?

I had big plans to polish my French while stuck at home hiding from the virus.

To finally revise tenses, irregular verbs and all those other pesky points that had been bugging me for a while.

But that didn’t work out.

Lots of other stuff kept getting in the way. Like working online, worrying about money and wondering where the weeks were going.

What I did manage was a walk to the beach most afternoons.

And most mornings I spent 5 minutes speedwriting or active copying in French.

In the evenings I played Scrabble, listened to a podcast, watched a movie or read a book in French.

That’s been good enough.
